Key Responsibilities

•Author, revise, and maintain comprehensive IT system documentation, including SOPs, user manuals, API documentation, and system architecture guides; develop, format, and manage recurring contract deliverables such as MSRs, white papers, and dashboards
•Interface directly with Systems Engineers, Software Developers, and Cybersecurity teams to extract and synthesize technical details into standardized documentation
•Ensure all technical documentation and deliverables adhere to DoD guidelines, RMF documentation standards, and contract-specific style guides
•Conduct rigorous peer reviews, copyediting, and formatting checks on documents to ensure clarity, accuracy, and professional presentation
•Manage document version control and repositories within DoD-approved systems (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint) operating at IL5

Key Requirements

•3-5 years of professional technical writing experience, with at least 1 year supporting a DoD or federal IT contract
•Bachelor’s Degree in English, Technical Communications, Information Technology, or a related field
•Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and content management systems (e.g., Confluence, Jira)
•Demonstrated knowledge of general IT infrastructure, cloud computing concepts, and basic cybersecurity terminology
•Experience with Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs), monthly status reports, white papers, and dashboards
