Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, test, deploy, and operate software for distributed research environments using OpenShift, OpenStack, and other open-source tools.
  • •Develop and troubleshoot research-environment software in settings including university research computing and North America programs.
  • •Develop and contribute software to open-source projects that support research computing.
  • •Work with researchers to design, train, and optimize AI software for LLMs, visual models, and other algorithms for scientific applications.
  • •Participate in research and student-oriented software development projects, including hackathons, tutorials, and mentoring.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • •Software development experience with multiple programming languages.
