Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the definition of future Eviden servers, considering energy efficiency, security and reliability, plus standard performance and cost criteria
  • •Draft and maintain the server architecture specification document used as input for development, integration, verification and validation teams throughout the project
  • •Contribute to monitoring of market servers and emerging architectures and technologies
  • •Interact with partners to understand their advanced programs and participate in international conferences, evaluating technological interests to guide product evolution
  • •Collaborate with European experts on European-funded projects and work with contractors/partners to meet program goals

Key Requirements

  • •University-level education (bac +5) or a PhD with at least 10 years in a RD or system engineering development team, preferably at a processor/networking equipment manufacturer
  • •Expertise in server technologies: CPU, GPU, FPGA, CPLD, DDR5, high-speed links such as PCIe or NvLink, PCIe switches, power distribution and cooling
  • •High-speed networks expertise: Ethernet or InfiniBand, NICs, switches, network topologies (fat tree, dragonfly+, optimized rails)
  • •Experience using a requirements management tool
  • •Fluent written and spoken English
