Key Responsibilities

  • •Collect, compile, and analyze data from physical work site materials (surveys, blueprints, schematics, drawings) for project development, design, and construction.
  • •Perform mechanical engineering work, conduct research/inspections of proposed and existing site conditions and equipment, and verify conformance with applicable standards and permits.
  • •Develop design requirements, concept development, load calculations, and operating strategies; implement future-ready solutions using mechanical design standards.
  • •Design cooling/heating systems including air distribution and hydronic systems, and schedule/select major equipment.
  • •Collaborate within multi-discipline teams to create drawing and specification documents; attend client meetings and support construction administration.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with mechanical building systems emphasis.
  • •5-7 years of relevant post-education engineering experience, including mechanical design experience.
  • •Engineer in Training Certification.
  • •Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit, and building/mechanical/energy codes.
  • •Experience with building and infrastructure planning, design, and construction management.
