Job Summary

Design and validate advanced power delivery systems for Intel platforms, from concept to implementation. You’ll model, analyze, and optimize PD networks, collaborate with silicon and platform architects, and develop end-to-end power delivery solutions (DC-DC converters, topologies, compensation) while using high‑speed test equipment to ensure energy efficiency, performance, and robust platform integration.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and implement end-to-end power delivery designs from concept to execution to meet platform power requirements.
•Define and analyze power delivery networks using 2D/3D model extraction, noise analysis, and simulation tools.
•Design and validate power conversion and management solutions focusing on energy management, package/PCB optimization, decoupling, and sequencing.
•Apply power conversion topologies, components, compensation circuits, stability analysis, and PCB layout tools to optimize performance.
•Collaborate with silicon/platform architects to generate analyses and content for platform design guides and validation benches.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 10+ years of relevant experience, or Master's with 7+ years, or PhD with no prior experience.
•Proficiency in power delivery modeling, analysis, and optimization techniques.
•Expertise with PCB schematic capture and layout tools, including Cadence Allegro and Sigrity.
•Hands-on experience with high-speed oscilloscopes, electronic loads, and debugging tools.
•Experience with DC-DC converter topologies, power trees/maps, drop/droop analysis, compensation circuits, and area/cost estimation.
