Job Summary

Lead TikTok’s Trust and Safety risk and response engineering team to protect users from harmful content and abusive behaviors. Oversee engineers across full-stack, front-end, and back-end development, and partner with Product Managers, Machine Learning Engineers, Data Scientists, and QA to deliver roadmap outcomes. Define the technical vision and strategy, improve system quality, efficiency, and security, and embed safety and abuse resistance into new products from the start.

•Continuously improve quality, efficiency, and security of the system.
•Help product teams design safety and abuse resistance into new products from the beginning.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science with at least 5 years of experience.
•2+ years of experience managing or technically leading a software engineering team.
•Strong experience architecting and implementing modern, large-scale consumer-facing web applications and backend systems.
•User-facing product experience building, designing, and scaling software architecture.
•Experience driving collaboration across cross-functional teams to deliver shared goals.
