Job Summary

Transport ready mix concrete safely to construction projects, company facilities, and customers across industrial and residential areas. Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections, follow DOT and company safety procedures, load/unload materials, monitor vehicle gauges, and maintain mileage logs. Handle minor servicing and keep equipment clean and orderly, while obeying dispatch instructions and ensuring product quality to the best of ability.

Key Responsibilities

•Transport ready mix concrete to construction projects, company facilities, or customers as instructed by dispatch and the supervisor.
•Perform daily pre/post trip inspections and complete required documentation per DOT guidelines.
•Load and unload materials and monitor vehicle gauges during operation.
•Maintain daily vehicle mileage logs and keep the vehicle clean and in orderly condition.
•Perform minor servicing and maintenance; refer major problems to the supervisor, while following company policies and applicable laws.

Key Requirements

•Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
•Minimum 2 years experience driving a mixer truck (preferred).
•Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a CDL A or CDL B license.
•Must pass DOT physical, drug screen, and criminal background check.
•Ability to operate mixer truck and related equipment safely and efficiently, including reading/writing and basic math for records.
