Key Responsibilities

  • •Compose, build, test, and operate core backend services for the Adobe I/O Events platform.
  • •Develop scalable, reliable, and secure systems for event ingestion, routing, filtering, and delivery.
  • •Build APIs and platform capabilities for Adobe product teams to publish and manage event-driven integrations at scale.
  • •Improve performance, durability, and operational efficiency of a high-throughput, multi-tenant eventing platform.
  • •Collaborate on distributed systems and reliability work, including fault tolerance, retries, ordering, idempotency, delivery guarantees, and production issue resolution.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science or a related field.
  • •7-10 years of software engineering experience building production-quality backend systems, platform services, or infrastructure components.
  • •Strong programming skills in one or more backend languages such as Java or Python.
  • •Experience building and operating APIs, microservices, or distributed backend systems in a cloud environment.
  • •Solid understanding of distributed systems fundamentals including scalability, resiliency, concurrency, failure handling, and debugging.
