Job Summary

Lead import compliance activities to ensure Customs and import operations follow applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Oversee customs clearance, HTS classification, customs valuation, country of origin, importer structure, broker management, and documentation standards. Administer the CTPAT program, guide AES filings, and build import compliance procedures supporting audits and post-entry reviews. Partner with Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, and Procurement to resolve Customs issues.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee all aspects of import compliance, including customs clearance, HTS classification, customs valuation, country of origin determination, and duty preference programs.
•Ensure compliance with U.S. CBP regulations, including marking and labeling requirements and other relevant import laws.
•Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Customs regulations and implement internal programs and policies to address risks and respond to changes.
•Partner with Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement, and other business units to coordinate import activities and resolve Customs issues.
•Administer the CTPAT program, manage Customs brokers, and support audits and post-entry reviews with audit-ready records.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 81,300 - 130,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or professional certification in trade compliance or customs preferred.
•8+ years of relevant import/customs compliance experience, preferably in semiconductor or technology manufacturing.
•Subject matter expertise in U.S. Customs regulations, HTS classification, valuation, country of origin, duty preference programs, CTPAT, and USMCA.
•Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
•Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex regulatory matters to non-experts.
