Job Summary

Lead the planning and execution of capital projects at the Toluca manufacturing site, guiding project engineering, budget adherence, safety, and schedule within the Latin America region. Collaborate across Engineering, Purchasing, and Construction leads to deliver GMP-compliant, multi-million euro investments from design through closeout. Drive operational excellence and plant master planning, while managing stakeholders and ensuring constructability and risk reviews.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage Operations investment projects, ensuring safety, timeliness, budget adherence, and specification compliance.
•Promote collaboration within the Engineering teams and focus on results and Operational Excellence.
•Support Plant Master Plan development and manage Capex planning and execution.
•Oversee internal lead disciplines, purchasing, construction, and project managers throughout capital project phases.
•Develop project estimates, submit summaries for approval, and ensure project reviews (design, hazards analysis, constructability).

Key Requirements

•BS degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical) preferred
•Graduate degree in Engineering or Project Management preferred
•Approximately 5-10 years of experience executing major construction capital projects, preferably in chemicals/ingredients manufacturing
•Demonstrated experience in process engineering, project engineering or maintenance, in direct implementation and supervisory roles
•Deep understanding of operations, capital projects, maintenance and engineering in an international environment with KPIs to drive OEE and yields
