Key Responsibilities

  • •Place bellies on conveyors for cure injection while keeping the line fed end to end within overlap limits.
  • •Watch for any bones or ribs left in bellies and insert the comb into the belly.
  • •Pick up bellies 2 at a time to hang on trees, then weigh trees 4 at a time with weights documented.
  • •Push trees into a drip cooler and keep loaded trees in drip coolers until loaded in a smokehouse.
  • •Perform required physical tasks safely, including standing the full shift and handling up to 40 pounds in wet/humid conditions near moving parts.
