Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform the detailed design of low to extra-high voltage substations, including diagrams, schematics, wiring, SCADA/communications, station layouts, and related plans.
  • •Create design deliverables such as cable and conduit plans, grounding and foundation details, structural plans, control enclosure details, lightning protection, yard lighting, and bills of materials.
  • •Support QA/QC for deliverables provided to clients.
  • •Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies.
  • •Learn and follow client standards and processes while working individually or within a team to complete complex designs.

Key Requirements

  • •BBSEE (BS Electrical Engineering) or BSEET (BS Electrical Engineering Technology) degree from an accredited university, preferably with a power option.

  • •Strong written and oral English communication skills to work with internal and external personnel.
  • •Legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without work sponsorship.
