Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide non-medical, short term, solution focused counseling to eligible children and youth of service members at assigned locations, including assessment, brief counseling, action planning, referrals, and follow-up as indicated.
  • •Support staff and personnel of Child Development Centers, youth programs and summer camps with counseling and guidance for parents.
  • •Deliver training and health/wellness presentations; participate in health fairs and base/installation activities focused on children and youth.
  • •Enter counselor activity data daily via smartphone, web, or fax, ensuring confidentiality and accurate reporting.
  • •Develop and maintain relationships with community resources for children and youth; ensure accessibility and line-of-sight protocol when working with children.

Salary: USD 59,922 - 100,280 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Master's Degree in Behavioral Health or Social Work; licenses to practice counseling independently in any US state; minimum one year post-licensure counseling experience; proficiency with technology and EMR; ability to travel to overseas locations and work in military installations; US Citizenship and fluency in English
