Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and operate secure, observable, resilient Java/Spring Boot services and low-latency APIs for inventory availability and order promising.
  • •Implement concurrency-control and consistency patterns to prevent overselling under competing orders and limited inventory.
  • •Build event-driven inventory processing with Kafka to handle receipts, adjustments, reservations, releases, cancellations, and fulfilment updates in near real time.
  • •Integrate inventory and promising services with OMS, commerce, WMS, ERP, store, and fulfilment platforms across the order lifecycle.
  • •Own complex components end-to-end (design to production), optimize performance and reliability, and mentor junior engineers through code reviews and engineering standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • •7+ years of software engineering experience building and operating scalable, high-availability, consumer-facing platforms.
  • •Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and modern microservices architectures for production-grade services.
  • •Strong experience with Kafka (or similar event-streaming) for event-driven architectures and enterprise integrations.
  • •Experience with caching (e.g., Redis), concurrency/consistency patterns to prevent overselling, and observability practices (monitoring, distributed tracing, alerting).
