Job Summary

Manage and coordinate plant manufacturing operations to meet cost, profit, and productivity targets. Develop production schedules, coordinate with other departments, and forecast inventory needs. Supervise activities through supervisors and lead operators, ensuring staff training, performance reviews, and continuous improvement of workflow efficiency, quality, yields, and scrap. Oversee assets, housekeeping, machinery maintenance, packaging, reporting, and ensure operations follow safety requirements and applicable laws/OSHA policies.

Key Responsibilities

•Formulate long- and short-range business plans and goals for the area of responsibility.
•Staff and manage assigned operations to meet production levels aligned with cost objectives.
•Supervise operations directly or through supervisors and lead operators, including coaching, development, and corrective actions as needed.
•Establish and monitor work center efficiency standards, quality standards, and initiate corrective actions.
•Coordinate inventory and asset management, including inventory rotation/month-end participation, machinery maintenance, packaging, reporting, and compliance with safety/OSHA and legal/regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements

•Preferred bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
•Minimum of two years of experience as a production supervisor or equivalent.
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
•Preferred experience and knowledge of UFP’s organization, culture, and product lines.
