Key Responsibilities

  • •Own a vertical end-to-end, including outcomes, metrics, backlog prioritization, and crisp acceptance criteria.
  • •Shape technical design with engineering across correctness, security, latency, scalability, recovery, and failure/retry/refund paths.
  • •Make and defend trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, reliability, and UX while handling pushback.
  • •Treat regulated constraints as first-class product inputs (licensing scope, CDD/KYC, sanctions/PEP screening, monitoring, data residency, privacy).
  • •Define how AI is used safely (allowed decisions, human-in-the-loop, evaluation, and behavior when unsure) and ensure traceability of AI outputs to records.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant experience owning a complex technical product end-to-end, with strong judgment in ambiguity.
  • •Solid system design foundation (boundaries, datastores/queues/workflows, APIs, and failure modes) and ability to challenge design docs.
  • •Experience in a regulated or high-consequence domain (e.g., payments, banking, remittance, insurance) or the ability to ramp quickly.
  • •Hands-on ability applying LLM-based products with eval frameworks and realistic understanding of hallucination/drift/data gaps.
  • •Nice to have: zero-to-one and shipped AI-heavy consumer products, plus defined evaluation metrics for ML/LLM systems.
