Key Responsibilities

•Provide personal financial counseling and management services directly to service members and their families.
•Assist service members in establishing a spending plan for extended absences.
•Develop and distribute informational financial materials to service members and families.
•Coordinate, publicize and provide a variety of Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle.
•Utilize virtual counseling or other electronic modes of communication (web-based, secure chat, video) as authorized by the program.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 58,440 - 93,500 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree required; may consider an associate degree with 4 years of experience or a high school diploma with 6 years' experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree
•3+ years of financial counseling experience
•Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English; bilingual in English and Spanish may be required by contract
•Must have AFC, CFP, or ChFC certification (or equivalent)
•Ability to obtain a favorable DoD background investigation and pass OCI disclosures
