Job Summary

Underwrite new cash flow LBO and private equity–backed transactions and support portfolio management for the General Industries team within the Sponsor Finance Group. Conduct due diligence, prepare pre-screen memos and credit approval materials, build financial models, and assist through closings. Manage and monitor portfolio accounts while partnering with senior origination officers, credit leaders, capital markets professionals, private equity sponsors, company management, and legal/operations stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist the deal team in due diligence for new cash flow transactions, including financial and qualitative due diligence.
•Prepare pre-screen memos and credit approval documents for presentation to the credit committee.
•Prepare financial models and support the closing process for new transactions.
•Manage and monitor portfolio accounts, including completion of required portfolio reviews.
•Process incremental credit extensions and communicate with key stakeholders throughout underwriting and portfolio management.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 100,000 - 115,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics (or equivalent work experience).
•1–2 years of experience in leveraged finance at a commercial bank, investment bank, or finance company with strong commercial credit experience.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Strong analytical skills and proficiency with financial statement modeling.
•Experience underwriting middle market cash flow transactions; ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
