  • •Identify and address legal and compliance risks across product, marketing, commercial operations, market access/reimbursement, R&D, people ops, and finance.
  • •Independently spot gaps in policies/processes and drive the build-out of compliance infrastructure.
  • •Develop compliance processes and infrastructure for external requirements, drafting policies/SOPs and overseeing implementation and training.
  • •Advise on company contracts, including drafting, negotiating, reviewing, interpreting, and managing strategic high-value agreements.
  • •Research and resolve legal questions in unfamiliar subject areas, partnering with internal stakeholders and escalating appropriately when needed.

Key Requirements

  • •JD and licensed to practice law in one or more US jurisdictions.
  • •5+ years of experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department, ideally with exposure to life science or healthcare organizations.
  • •Experience advising commercial leaders and teams on business strategies, product promotion, sales programs, and transactions.
  • •Experience developing processes to comply with legal/regulatory requirements, drafting and implementing policies/procedures, and delivering employee training.
  • •Exposure to subject areas such as commercial compliance, securities/corporate governance, contract drafting/negotiation, intellectual property, and labor/employment matters.
