Lead design and implementation of load interconnection and grid-model development for Crusoe's large-load data centers, focusing on integrating facilities into the MISO and SPP energy markets. You will perform grid integration studies, manage transmission injection processes and load deliverability, strategize Points of Interconnection (POIs), and collaborate with Business Development on technical proposals, leveraging deep power systems expertise and strong communication across energy, infrastructure, and cloud services teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform and support comprehensive grid integration studies for large-load facilities within MISO and PJM.
•Manage transmission injection processes and perform load deliverability studies to ensure grid stability and capacity.
•Strategize Points of Interconnection (POIs) based on evolving business needs and changing regulatory requirements.
•Contribute to the technical development of the team, sharing expertise and best practices in grid integration and ISO/RTO navigation.
•Work with internal teams to draft technical specifications and support Business Development on the technical aspects of project proposals.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 175,000 - 210,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Master’s degree in Power Systems with 3+ years of experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience in Power Systems.
•Deep experience in grid planning, system modeling, and grid code compliance studies.
•Strong working knowledge of MISO/SPP transmission topology and load interconnection methodologies.
•Ability to think outside the box to identify POIs that offer the best path to interconnection for large-scale loads.
•Excellent technical report writing and verbal communication skills.
