Treat licensing, compliance, and AI evaluation as core product inputs, and ship behind flags as external gates clear.

Key Responsibilities

•Own a product vertical end to end with clear outcomes and metrics, prioritizing the backlog by value/risk/dependency/strategic priority and defining crisp acceptance criteria.
•Shape technical design with engineering across system boundaries, money-movement correctness, third-party rail behavior, and failure/retry/refund paths.
•Make hard trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, reliability, and UX, and defend decisions to engineering, compliance, or ops leads.
•Treat regulated constraints as first-class product inputs, including licensing scope, CDD/KYC, sanctions/PEP screening, transaction monitoring, data residency, and privacy.
•Apply AI where it earns its place by defining allowed decision boundaries, human-in-the-loop behavior, evaluation, and safe handling when unsure.

Key Requirements

•Significant experience owning a complex technical product end-to-end, with strong judgment under ambiguity and the ability to balance ambition with technical, regulatory, and operational realities.
•Strong system design foundation, including boundaries, datastores, queues/workflows, APIs, failure modes, and consistency under concurrency; able to review and challenge design docs.
•Experience in a regulated/high-consequence domain such as payments, banking, remittance, or insurance (or demonstrated fast ramp), with understanding of correctness over convenience and irreversible states.
•Hands-on AI judgment for LLM-based products, including defining evaluable features and understanding when the model must not be in the loop.
•Ability to apply AI responsibly, accounting for hallucination/drift/data gaps and when data-blocked vs model-blocked should change behavior.
