Job Summary

Lead the Bucharest Express AI Pillar engineering team to develop AI foundations, including machine learning features, infrastructure, model hosting, and delivery capabilities. Manage and grow a team of up to 10 engineers and ML scientists, guiding research, design, implementation, delivery, and maintenance. Partner across Adobe geographies, set technical direction, coach performance, and help create ethical datasets that enable impactful, customer-facing products.

•Lead and manage a team of up to 10 people, including hiring and performance management.
•Guide the team through research, technical design, implementation, delivery, and maintenance of ML applications.

•Ensure transparent project status communication with partners.
•Develop engineering processes and collaboration models to optimize team efficiency and culture for applied research excellence.

Key Requirements

•BS or MS in Computer Science (or related), with experience building machine learning applications.
•5+ years of experience as an engineering manager leading teams that built complex applications.
•7+ years of experience in the ML field with consistent, state-of-the-art results.
•Experience building and leading teams with multiple ML engineers and researchers.
•Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with data-driven decision-making and customer empathy.
