Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage risk and closure of contaminated sites in the downstream oil and gas industry.
  • •Design and oversee field work for monitoring, investigating, and remediating contaminated sites, and prepare technical reports.
  • •Lead proposal and cost estimate preparation, including report writing with conclusions and recommendations.
  • •Manage project accounting, tracking, and reporting under WSP’s Master Services Agreements.
  • •Review health and safety and emergency response plans, and train junior staff in environmental practices and site-specific health and safety.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a related field (sciences and/or Engineering).
  • •Minimum 8 years of experience in contaminated site assessments.
  • •Knowledge of health and safety procedures and a safety-conscious approach.
  • •Previous experience with soil and groundwater sampling and remediation.
  • •Understanding of Saskatchewan environmental regulations; professional designation preferred.
