Job Summary

Lead contaminated-site assessment and remediation projects for clients in the downstream oil and gas industry. Oversee field work, including monitoring, investigation, and remediation, and prepare technical reports. Manage project risk and closure, lead a team and train junior staff, coordinate health and safety planning, and develop proposals, cost estimates, and budgets. Build client relationships and collaborate with the national RPM team based in Saskatoon or Regina.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage risk and closure of contaminated sites in the downstream oil and gas industry.
•Design and oversee field work for monitoring, investigating, and remediating contaminated sites, and prepare technical reports.
•Lead proposal and cost estimate preparation, including report writing with conclusions and recommendations.
•Manage project accounting, tracking, and reporting under WSP’s Master Services Agreements.
•Review health and safety and emergency response plans, and train junior staff in environmental practices and site-specific health and safety.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in a related field (sciences and/or Engineering).
•Minimum 8 years of experience in contaminated site assessments.
•Knowledge of health and safety procedures and a safety-conscious approach.
•Previous experience with soil and groundwater sampling and remediation.
•Understanding of Saskatchewan environmental regulations; professional designation preferred.
