Use in vitro systems (2D cell lines, 3D spheroids, patient-derived organoids) and an in vivo chick embryo model to examine DNA damage repair and survival pathways and identify proteins and mechanisms behind normal tissue sparing. Analyze results, plan experiments, publish findings, and support supervision of students within the RadNet Birmingham centre.
