Job Summary

Provide technical leadership for strategic data and analytics products, including a cloud-native Advanced Analytics platform and a Technology Insights Centre. Design, build, and govern business-critical solutions that enable advanced analytics, data-driven decision-making, and technology insights. Act as the domain authority, guiding secure, scalable architectures and modern engineering practices (automation, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, observability) while coaching teams and embedding governance and regulatory compliance.

•Provide technical leadership for strategic data and analytics products, maintaining high standards of engineering, architecture, and delivery.
•Design secure, scalable cloud solutions and drive the technical roadmap from concept to implementation.
•Champion modern engineering practices including automation, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and observability.
•Embed security, governance, and regulatory compliance into all solutions while balancing innovation with risk.
•Lead engineering teams with hands-on solution design, code reviews, and coaching/development of engineers.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 75,000 - 94,000 annually

•Extensive experience designing, implementing, and operating cloud-based technology products, ideally on GCP or a comparable cloud platform.
•Strong expertise in automation, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and modern engineering practices.
•Experience with secure data integration using APIs, databases, and data pipelines, including authentication/access technologies such as OAuth and OIDC.
•Proven ability to design secure, scalable solutions in regulated environments with strong governance, security, and compliance knowledge.
•Track record delivering complex enterprise-scale solutions across large and multinational organisations.
