Key Responsibilities

•Independently evaluate and structure complex CRE credit requests, including construction, bridge, and permanent financing.
•Perform independent credit analysis and risk assessment, including preparing analysis of financial statements and modeling cash flows and downside/break-even projections.
•Prepare and complete CAR reports for Credit Administration approval and ensure consistency between the LOI, loan documents, and the CAR.
•Review loan request documentation (e.g., UCC filings, appraisal report, title policy, lease agreements, credit reports) and recommend reporting/performance covenants.
•Provide guidance and mentoring to junior underwriters and coordinate with internal/external credit review teams and regulators as needed.

•Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant work experience or training.

•Knowledge of and adherence to applicable regulations including Regulation Z, Regulation B, Fair Housing Act, HMDA, RESPA, FCRA, BSA/USA PATRIOT Act, AML, CIP, RFPA, and CRA.
