Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as primary representative and lead for the Revenue Strategy team on major strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects.
  • •Drive cross-functional implementation of new, strategically significant go-to-market initiatives with Operations, Product, Sales, Finance, and other stakeholders.
  • •Conduct in-depth technical accounting research for complex product offerings, pricing models, and revenue streams under ASC 606 and internal policy.
  • •Prepare accounting memos and formal presentations for internal review and approval by senior leadership to ensure compliant revenue recognition for innovative products.
  • •Supervise and assist the team with SOX controls review, documentation, and maintenance related to revenue processes, including reserves and reporting deliverables.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years combined Big 4 and/or SaaS industry experience focused on revenue recognition guidance under ASC 606.
  • •Proficiency in ASC 606, including identifying performance obligations (POBs) under the standards.
  • •Ability to draft accounting memos that conclude all steps of the revenue recognition guidance for complex product offerings.
  • •Strong ability to communicate complex revenue recognition guidance to business partners in clear, non-accounting language and manage non-compliance risks.
  • •Experience owning deliverables and guiding team day-to-day execution in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
