Job Summary

Lead and execute analog physical design work within Kilby Labs, collaborating with distributed design teams to develop test/production dies from floorplanning through fabrication. Own layout reviews, manage circuit layouts, and work with design and packaging teams to develop custom lead-frames. Partner with ATD and PDK teams on new process/device development using Pcell Designer and automated tools, analyze reliability risks, and mentor contract layout engineers in India.

Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate with design teams to understand architecture and create test/production dies, managing circuit layouts from floorplanning to fabrication.
•Provide technical guidance as project lead/team leader, including planning, timelines, and resource assignments.
•Conduct layout reviews and confirm verifications and specifications are met.
•Work with design and packaging teams to develop custom lead-frames.
•Analyze and close electro migration, thermal gradients, and layout parasitics; identify ESD and latchup issues; support back annotation and mentor contract layout engineers.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
•8+ years of relevant experience in analog physical design.
•Expert in layout techniques, tools, and methodologies for power, RF, and sensor layouts.
•Working knowledge of database management, CAPs execution and maintenance, and JUMP updates.
•Familiar with multiple TI process nodes including LBC, CMOS, BICMOS, and GaN technologies.
