Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead project safety/security tasks across the U.S., applying FTA risk-management processes and APTA industry standards for transit clients.
  • •Develop PHAs/TVAs and associated mitigations/countermeasures, and produce related safety/security deliverables (CEL/CIL and DCCCs/CSCCs).
  • •Hold workshops with multi-disciplinary groups/committees and provide direction for multi-disciplined colleagues and junior staff.
  • •Interact directly with agency clients and project managers, producing SSC documents and reports.
  • •Develop PTASP, manage annual reviews and updates, perform SSC peer reviews, deliver SSC training, and support SSC training for internal and external clients.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS plus 6 years of related experience, or demonstrated equivalency through experience and/or education.
  • •Ability to pass an MVR check.
  • •Proven project task lead experience within Public Transportation Safety Certification Training Programs (PTSCTP, TSSP), and State Safety Oversight (SSO).
  • •Working proficiency with safety/security certification processes and documentation (FTA Safety & Security Certification Process, APTA Safety & Security Certification Standards).
  • •Proficiency delivering PTASP development, annual reviews, and associated safety/security design review deliverables.
