Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate ready-mix trucks safely in plant yard, on public highways/roads, and at job sites to deliver products.
  • •Safely align and operate the mixer drum and release concrete at job sites using the appropriate chute placement and operation.
  • •Clean the truck after each delivery to prevent concrete from hardening in the mixer and on the truck.
  • •Accurately complete pre- and post-trip inspections and verify mix specifications after loading and at the job site.
  • •Enter truck production activities into an electronic tracking system and ensure DOT compliance; perform other duties as directed by supervisor.

Key Requirements

  • •Ability to perform pre- and post-trip truck inspections and maintain equipment in safe condition.
  • •Must possess or be willing to obtain a valid state commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A or Class B.
  • •Must possess or be willing to obtain a valid Medical Card per DOT standard.
  • •One to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent education and experience.
