•Lead the Engineering Manager on the Terminal Commerce Experience team to launch and scale Stripe Terminal's Unified Commerce experiences for large-scale enterprise.
•Drive the roadmap and priorities for your team, coordinating with dependencies across the company.
•Support the engineering team in achieving technical excellence and stability.
•Recruit excellent engineers in collaboration with Stripe’s recruiting team and develop engineers on the team.
•Understand core Stripe APIs, influence design for card-present payments, and build a platform for Unified Commerce with your team.

Key Requirements

•A strong technical background with 5+ years of experience in engineering leadership across Mobile, API, and backend development teams; demonstrated broad technical leadership.
•Built diverse teams to tackle challenging technical problems.
•Understands AI’s impact and has a strong product mindset to turn emerging capabilities into clear customer and business value.
•Thrived in a collaborative environment involving different stakeholders and subject matter experts.
•Understanding of how to build and manage scalable, resilient, and observable systems across the stack.
