Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform installation tasks including cable pulls/terminations, installing system equipment and components, and rack fabrication with wiring layouts.
  • •Lead and direct installation crews on larger projects; coordinate and report progress to the Project Manager to meet time, scope, budget, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction targets.
  • •Interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints; use hand and power tools to solder and crimp connectors.
  • •Test point-to-point cabling and validate system functionality; support engineers/programmers with minor programming changes as needed.
  • •Support site operations by tracking equipment/tools, handling return material authorizations, supervising installation documentation, and assisting with client training while coordinating with other trades.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 4–6 years of audiovisual, electronics, or related industry installation experience.
  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •Advanced ability to install, terminate, and troubleshoot low-voltage cabling (e.g., HDMI, CAT5e/6, fiber optic) and wiring methods (conduit runs, cable trays).
  • •Advanced understanding of audio-visual systems and network infrastructure integration (IP-based systems, streaming, cloud-based services).
  • •Valid and current AVIXA CTS General Certification and a valid driver’s license with a motor vehicle record meeting AVI-SPL driving standards.
