Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver Plant & Piping CAD and BIM outputs for water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including pipelines, pumping stations, treatment plants, recycled water schemes, dams, and desalination facilities.
  • •Prepare 2D and 3D deliverables using AutoCAD and Plant 3D, including GA drawings, piping layouts, isometrics, plot plans, sections, PFDs, P&IDs, and construction-ready drawings.
  • •Develop, manage, and maintain federated BIM models with clash detection, coordination, issue resolution, reporting, and data management in Autodesk Vault.
  • •Produce Bills of Materials (BOMs), quantity take-offs, schedules, and equipment lists in line with project and client requirements.
  • •Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, review/check drawings and models for compliance, mentor CAD staff, champion QA/QC, and provide progress updates, risk identification, and workload forecasts.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering (or B.Tech/equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline).
  • •12–18 years of proven experience delivering water supply and wastewater utility projects.
  • •Experience with utilities water, wastewater, recycled water pipeline work including pumping stations, reservoirs, water sampling stations, metering systems, emergency storage, odour control, and chemical dosing.
  • •Proven experience in AU/NZ projects (highly preferred), with additional exposure to UK, US, or Middle East projects as an advantage.
  • •Successful completion of a background verification (BGV) check with a third-party agency.
