Job Summary

Own Plant & Piping BIM and CAD delivery for water and wastewater infrastructure projects, producing coordinated 2D/3D design documentation from concept through detailed design. Build and maintain federated BIM models with clash detection and data management in the Common Data Environment. Prepare GA drawings, piping layouts, isometrics, PFDs, P&IDs, and construction-ready deliverables, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and mentor CAD staff while ensuring QA/QC compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Deliver Plant & Piping CAD and BIM outputs for water and wastewater infrastructure projects in line with WSP and client standards.
•Prepare 2D and 3D deliverables (GA drawings, piping layouts, isometrics, plot plans, sections, PFDs, P&IDs, and construction-ready drawings).
•Develop, manage, and maintain federated BIM models, performing clash detection and coordinating issue resolution within the Common Data Environment (Autodesk Vault).
•Produce Bills of Materials (BOMs), quantity take-offs, schedules, and equipment lists to meet project/client requirements.
•Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and liaise with New Zealand/ANZ lead offices; mentor CAD staff and champion QA/QC compliance.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering, or (B.Tech or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline.
•12–18 years of proven experience in water supply and wastewater utility projects.
•Experience in utilities water and wastewater pipeline projects, including pumping stations, reservoirs, water sampling stations, and related systems.
•Advanced proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and Plant 3D, including BIM coordination, clash detection, and federated model management.
•Proven experience delivering in AU/NZ projects (highly preferred).
