Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical accounting guidance for complex and emerging issues and document conclusions in formal accounting position papers.
  • •Serve as a liaison with external auditors to ensure concurrence with accounting positions.
  • •Perform annual/ongoing impairment reviews of assets and significant balance sheet items.
  • •Support acquisitions/divestitures, including acquisition accounting memos, opening balance sheet preparation, valuation specialist partnership, and post-acquisition integration accounting.
  • •Support External Reporting and the monthly close, including documentation/review for SEC filings and assistance with monthly balance sheet reviews and audit requests.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including technical accounting research and SEC reporting.
  • •CPA license required.
  • •Extensive experience preparing accounting position papers and communicating complex issues to senior leadership and external auditors.
  • •Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting experience.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in accounting required; public accounting experience (Big 4 preferred).
