Job Summary

Serve as the first point of contact for clients, ensuring their IT infrastructure and systems stay operational. Monitor environments, triage and resolve first-line incidents and service requests using ITSM tools, and proactively identify issues before they impact services. Perform routine maintenance like patching and configuration changes, collaborate across domains (cloud, security, networking, applications, collaboration), and support disaster recovery tests with seamless shift handovers.

Key Responsibilities

•Be the first point of contact for clients, ensuring IT infrastructure and systems remain operational.
•Monitor client infrastructure and solutions to identify problems and errors before or as they occur.
•Investigate and resolve first-line incidents and service requests using telephonic support, ITSM tickets, or chat.
•Perform maintenance activities such as patching and configuration changes and support work optimization.
•Contribute to disaster recovery functions and tests, reporting and escalating incidents as needed.

Key Requirements

•Entry-level experience troubleshooting and supporting security, network, data centre systems, or storage within a medium to large ICT organization.
•Basic knowledge of management agents, redundancy concepts, and ITIL processes.
•Highly disciplined handling of tickets day-to-day, acting promptly per defined SOPs.
•Ability to resolve tickets using knowledge articles and available SOPs.
•A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in IT or Computing (or demonstrated equivalent work experience).
