Key Responsibilities

  • •Draft press releases, media pitches, and other written materials for media and internal stakeholders.
  • •Assist media relations by compiling media lists, crafting quotes, and preparing key talking points.
  • •Monitor Insomniac press coverage and compile a daily coverage report for the PR team.
  • •Manage media requests sent to [email protected], including approvals/denials for club shows and festivals.
  • •Maintain press.insomniac.com with current festival information and coordinate with external agencies for fact-checking, schedules, and media assets.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 18 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Be at least 18 years old and currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or trade school.
  • •Preferred: studying Public Relations/Communications, English, and/or entertainment-industry majors, preferably junior year or beyond.
  • •Previous internship or work experience in public relations and communications is a plus.
  • •Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • •Must be able to work out of the Calabasas, CA office at least 2-3 days per week for 6+ hours per day (typical commitment 18-29 hours/week).
