Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with fabrication teams to identify operational challenges, key process constraints, and opportunities for scope reduction or process improvements, with full ownership of execution.
  • •Create and maintain software tools and dashboards (Excel, SQL, Python) to empower engineering design teams and scale Starship launch infrastructure.
  • •Collaborate cross-functionally across flight hardware logistics, supply chain, engineering, operations, production, and launch to synchronize efforts.
  • •Develop tools to track performance metrics, perform statistical analysis, and enable data-driven decisions to optimize engineering and production.
  • •Maintain a fast feedback loop with launch engineering and fabrication teams and independently solve complex problems, including hands-on support on production or engineering issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or physics.
  • •1+ years of experience in production, manufacturing, test, integration, or launch engineering.
  • •1+ years of experience using Excel, SQL, or Python/R for data analysis or project scheduling.
  • •3+ years of hands-on experience with complex or low-margin mechanical, structural, fluid, and electronic systems.
  • •Experience troubleshooting and solving problems under short deadlines and high urgency.
