Key Responsibilities

  • •Assess network threats (viruses, exploits, malicious attacks) and operate vulnerability assessment equipment to support intrusion analysis.
  • •Identify true threats vs. false positives and address network misconfigurations in a timely manner.
  • •Monitor for potential compromise and significant security events, and follow intrusion and escalation processes.
  • •Develop/write custom IDS signatures and update proprietary signatures.
  • •Perform daily IDS analysis/monitoring and generate technical and executive summary reports.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • •2+ years of relevant experience.
  • •Experience in systems cyber security analysis.
  • •Experience working at a Security Operations Center (SOC) / Network Operations Center (NOC).
  • •Experience with Computer Emergency/Incident Response Team (CERT/CIRT) and network security management/operations.
