Key Responsibilities

  • •Load, secure, transport, and unload CarMax vehicles safely and efficiently, including hands-on freight handling.
  • •Move vehicles between CarMax locations and approved vendors using a company-provided truck while keeping equipment clean and operational.

Key Requirements

  • •21 years of age or older with a valid state-issued driver’s license.
  • •Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) issued by the state.
  • •Clean driving record with no serious violations in the past three years and meeting CarMax’s Driver Safety Evaluation criteria.
  • •2+ years of Class A CDL driving experience OR 2+ years of Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) driving experience at CarMax.
  • •Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks including climbing, bending, and kneeling to secure vehicles.
