Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate screed controls on the asphalt paver and adjust for correct depth, grade, and finished cross section.
  • •Work with crewmembers to apply asphalt according to plan specifications and meet daily schedules/estimates.
  • •Follow traffic control instructions and adhere to company safety standards and PPE policy.
  • •Report problems to appropriate leaders and follow company policies/procedures for safe and environmentally responsible work.
  • •Assist with other tasks such as adding/removing screed extensions, using required tools, and supporting job completion.
