Job Summary

Lead financial planning, analysis, and finance controlling for the SSA market, including forecasting results, reviewing budgets, and managing financial reporting risk. Own the integrated 3-year plan aligned to the Group strategy, maintain the South Africa financial planning model, and drive monthly/quarterly close and management accounts. Partner with Finance Director and cross-functional teams, support leadership with performance insights, and submit annual plans and forecasts via Essbase for consolidation.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead financial planning, analysis, and finance controlling for the SSA market, including financial reporting and risk management.
•Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver the integrated 3-year financial plan aligned with Group strategy and affiliates.
•Maintain the South Africa financial planning model and complete the SBP, Annual Financial Plan, and Forecasts in line with IFRS/US GAAP.
•Own monthly and quarterly GP financial close procedures and provide monthly management accounts with performance drivers and variance analysis.
•Submit Annual Financial Plan and Forecasts into Essbase for cluster and Group consolidation, including P&L, balance sheet, and capex; also complete cluster/group reporting and special projects.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with CIMA or Chartered Accountant (SA), or currently studying toward CIMA/CA(SA).
•5-6 years of experience in a similar financial planning/analysis role.
•Strong understanding of financial planning principles and accounting/reporting standards, including financial modelling for complex business models.
•Working knowledge of IFRS and understanding of accounting processes and internal controls.
•Experience planning and forecasting using decision support tools such as SAP, Essbase, Hyperion, and Excel, and ability to communicate financial concepts to senior leadership.
