Key Responsibilities

  • •Produce, coordinate, review and/or approve electrical design plans for complex power plant projects.
  • •Apply high-level electrical engineering techniques to support all project phases, from preliminary design to commissioning support and record drawings.
  • •Support generation project scoping, budgeting, and proposals.
  • •Support/oversee the development of power plant electrical drawings (One lines, Breaker Control Schematics, Bus Duct Layouts, Equipment Elevations, Cable Schedules, etc.) and equipment specifications.
  • •Mentor staff to support their growth and professional development.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 86,100 - 150,590 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • •5 to 7 years of relevant post-education experience as a power engineer providing design deliverables for capital projects in power generation.
  • •Professional Engineer license required (multiple states preferred).
  • •Highly proficient with power engineering principles, practices, process, design/build, and the application to permitting and project work-related issues.
  • •Experience with infrastructure design involving Combined Cycle and Simple Cycle Gas Turbines or Heat Recovery Steam Generators.
