Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead IL4/IL5 compliance strategy and execution, including compliance assessments and authorizations aligned to the DoW Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide (CC SRG).
  • •Maintain and evolve Horizon3’s compliance posture for FedRAMP High, NIST SP 800-53, and other relevant federal frameworks.
  • •Act as a GRC liaison to development and engineering teams, translating DoW and federal requirements into actionable technical specifications for cloud-native infrastructure.
  • •Oversee internal audits, risk assessments, and the continuous monitoring (ConMon) program.
  • •Serve as primary liaison for external auditors (3PAOs), federal sponsors, and regulatory bodies; handle vendor security responses and develop GRC policies/training, and support incident response investigations related to compliance issues.

Key Requirements

  • •3-5+ years of experience in GRC, Security Compliance, or a similar role.
  • •Strong knowledge of cybersecurity compliance frameworks and regulations, specifically DoW CC SRG (IL4/IL5), FedRAMP High/Moderate, and NIST SP 800-53.
  • •Experience writing and maintaining FedRAMP System Security Plans, Policies, Procedures, and related Plans.
  • •Ability to secure and manage compliance within AWS environments, including using AWS security and compliance tools.
  • •US Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance; active DoW security clearance is a nice to have.
