Job Summary

Lead HopSkipDrive’s AI and automation enablement by building shared, secure infrastructure and guardrails for production deployments. Partner with AI specialists to scope and ship solutions that meet security, cost, and scalability standards, while governing intake and monitoring AI spend efficiency across usage-based tools.

Key Responsibilities

•Build and maintain shared secure infrastructure, including secure web app hosting, MCP/API standards, secret/key management, model selection, guardrails, and a centralized pattern library.
•Own the review, tracking, and advisory process for all corporate AI and automation builds before deployment, including MCP servers/tool configurations, Claude Skills, API integrations, and agentic workflows.
•Partner directly with AI specialists across departments to identify, scope, and build AI and automation solutions that meet standards for cost, security, and scalability.
•Define and maintain the secure intake path for AI and automation requests across the organization, replacing ad-hoc builds and shadow IT with a governed process.
•Monitor AI cost efficiency by setting thresholds and alerting on AI spend across usage-based tools and platforms.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 120,000 - 145,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Minimum 5 years in technical operations, IT, or support roles focused on systems integration, automation, and workflow optimization.
•Practical experience constructing or managing automation pipelines, including deploying LLM integrations or advanced AI tools into existing workflows within the past year.
•Proven track record building and shipping AI integrations and automation workflows using n8n, Workato, Zapier, or comparable platforms, with comfort in Python or Google Apps Script.
•Hands-on experience with LLM and agentic systems in a business context, including prompt engineering, Claude Skills, MCP servers, or API integrations.
•Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, particularly GCP, including secrets management and IAM fundamentals.
