Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the Owner’s Representative, overseeing and coordinating construction controls across the project lifecycle to meet schedule, budget, and quality/safety requirements.
  • •Validate inspection requirements and perform inspection activities at worksites including suppliers and warehouses.
  • •Witness/review testing activities against the inspection and test plan requirements, and verify approvals are in place before specific works commence.
  • •Review and endorse quality records, generate inspection and progress reports, and issue final inspection release notes.
  • •Report inspection deficiencies/queries to the project quality team; verify inspection test equipment is fit for purpose and calibrated; support as-building processes and handover; assist supplier audits as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical or a related field.
  • •Minimum 10 years of experience in inspection or construction QA/QC roles.
  • •Inspection certificate in a relevant discipline (e.g. welding/electrical/mechanical) from a recognized industry or national body (essential).
  • •Radiographic interpretation certificate (piping welding inspectors only) (desirable).
  • •Experience with inspection tools, construction management software, and mobile inspection apps; strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
