Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the placement and servicing of marine and energy reinsurance programs.
  • •Handle pre- and post-renewal activities including risk analysis, preparing submission materials, contacting reinsurers, negotiating terms, and completing renewal processing.
  • •Build and deepen knowledge of the reinsurance market and marine and energy segment, growing a network of reinsurance contacts to arrange and tender suitable reinsurance cover.
  • •Contribute to renewal strategies with senior colleagues and provide technical input as needed.
  • •Provide professional advice and service to clients and ceding offices, coordinating renewals and RFPs with Relationship Managers and other brokers/teams, and support team initiatives and market events.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree preferred in a relevant discipline such as Maritime, Insurance, Economics, Business, or Finance.
  • •Ideally 1–3 years of experience in insurance, reinsurance, renewables, or a related commercial financial environment; marine experience is a plus.
  • •Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills with confidence interacting with external partners and clients.
  • •Ability to work both independently and in a team, collaborating across multiple functions and locations.
  • •Analytical and meticulous approach to interpreting data and documentation and drawing clear conclusions.
