Job Summary

Act as an HR business partner responsible for the daily operational functioning of the HR department and for translating HR trends into practical initiatives. Support and advise local HR teams and managers on complex HR topics, optimize HR processes and systems (including AFAS and training/benefits administration), and coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and evaluation in collaboration with the Talent Partner. Analyze HR data, help shape compensation & benefits, and ensure compliance with labor rules and wellbeing/safety and environmental policies.

Key Responsibilities

•Guide and support local HR employees (payroll, sickness/absence, disciplinary policy, etc.) and organize the monthly HR meeting.
•Advise managers on more complex HR questions while balancing employee and organization needs.
•Optimize HR processes, procedures, and systems (AFAS, training, merits, expense management, etc.).
•Translate social legislation into policy and internal processes and keep the work regulations up to date.
•Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and evaluation processes with the Talent Partner, including monitoring compensation & benefits and HR data/reporting (retention, absenteeism, turnover).

Key Requirements

•Master’s degree in economics or social sciences (or equivalent through experience).
•Several years of experience as an HR business partner in a complex production environment (international listed organization is a plus).
•Willingness to travel between CRH Structural Concrete locations.
•Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
•Fluent in Dutch with good knowledge of English and French.
