Job Summary

Lead the Payment Foundations team to build a secure, reliable, scalable platform for money movement across Garner. Own the payments strategy and roadmap, partnering across product, engineering, operations, legal, and finance to deliver 0-to-1 payment products. Drive API and integration development across payment processing, card, bank, and HSA provider partners, and establish standards for compliance, financial reporting, and incident response.

Key Responsibilities

•Own Garner’s payments platform strategy and roadmap, including payment systems, financial ledger, payments data products, and payment operations tools.
•Own payment partner and vendor integrations across payment processing, card vendors, bank partners, and HSA provider integrations.
•Drive development of APIs, integrations, and platform capabilities to safely initiate, track, and reconcile money movement.
•Establish company-wide standards for compliance, financial reporting, and incident response.
•Partner cross-functionally to enable 0-to-1 payments products and use cases, including ledger design and automated HSA deposits.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 222,000 - 245,000 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years of Product Management experience, including owning a technical or platform product end-to-end.
•Strong systems thinking and detail orientation, with ability to reason about system failures and edge cases.
•Strong technical background owning technical products such as APIs, integrations, and data systems.
•Excellent written and verbal communication to translate complex technical concepts for engineering, business, and external stakeholders.
•Bonus: experience with financial or other highly regulated products or large-scale financial systems.
