Design and improve CPU compiler software alongside hardware and systems software teams, enabling hardware-software co-design for NVIDIA’s AI and HPC workloads. Key Responsibilities

•Work with a geographically distributed partner organization to understand, modify, and improve CPU compiler software at NVIDIA.
•Analyze AI workloads to champion improvements across hardware and compiler toolchains and strengthen hardware-software co-design.
•Contribute new compiler features and optimization techniques targeting NVIDIA CPUs, collaborating with upstream and open-source communities.
•Develop compiler software optimized for performance.
•Contribute to the development of next-generation compute while working in a team focused on AI, HPC, and data centre technologies.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of experience with a BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
•Experience with compiler development or a related academic project.
•Knowledge of language front-ends and/or compiler optimization techniques and code generation modules.
•Strong hands-on C++ programming skills.
•Good CPU architecture and low-level performance analysis skills, including pre-silicon hardware/software co-design experience.
