Key Responsibilities

  • •Consult with first line leaders to ensure alignment with non-financial risk policies, standards, and frameworks across governance, risk appetite, self-assessment, monitoring/reporting, controls, resiliency, cybersecurity, third-party risk, privacy, and change management.
  • •Independently manage and/or coordinate business unit risk inventory assessments and advice/review/challenge to identify trends in likelihood, impact, and materiality.
  • •Aggregate, analyze, and report business unit risk metrics to support governance committee oversight through advice/review/challenge.
  • •Participate in and/or present to various committees, steering groups, and working groups.
  • •Perform continuous monitoring for internal and business change initiatives to ensure risks are identified and aligned with risk appetite, and support leaders ahead of regulators, governance specialists, and internal/external audits.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of risk management consulting or second line risk management experience in financial services, with preference for asset management.
  • •Membership and exposure to ORX is a plus.
  • •Hold or have risk designations/certificates such as Professional Risk Manager (PRM), Operational Risk Manager (ORM), International Certificate in Enterprise Risk Management, or Certificate in Operational Risk Management.
  • •Proficient in insight generation, professional judgement, influence, negotiation, and conflict management.
  • •Advanced relationship management and business partnering, including listening and strong oral and written communication.
